THE APPROACH

With its sights set on expanding throughout the UK and Europe, Vans opened its first flagship store on Oxford Street, in the heart of London, in November 2019.

The brand enlisted Mood Media to help create an atmosphere and in-store experience, alongside its Customs Lab (a dedicated space where customers can customise their purchase), that honoured art, one of the Vans brand pillars.

THE RESULT

From the design phase all the way to implementing audiovisual solutions that would match the retail experience within the Vans Oxford Street flagship store, Mood Media was there every step of the way.

We installed high brightness, outdoor LED (3x3m) for the store window with the aim of drawing customers in store, a total of 3 indoor LED walls to provide the ultimate WOW-factor experience when in the store, and a large 98” display screen to attract attention to the main store attraction: the footwear wall.

In order to provide an authentic and relaxed soundscape for Vans, Mood installed a premium Bose sound system, consisting of RoomMatch loudspeakers with full range quality.
